Synopsis:

The US Army Contracting Agency, Directorate of Contracting, US Military Academy, West Point, NY intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to KOVA Corp., 471 Route 9 South, Tuckerton, NJ 08087-2225. The contract is for the purpose of obtaining manufacturer authorized maintenance and warranty for a Mercom manufactured Audiolog System. KOVA Corp. has been identified as the only authorized manufacturer designated Platinum Level Service Provider for their system in our geographic area. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Priced contract which would cover a Base Year and two Option Years. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competidtive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Responses to this notice must be received no later than 3:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, 10 April 2008. Phone call will not be accepted. The Government point of contact for this action is Kevin M. Niebuhr, Contract Specialist, at Kevin.M.Niebuhr@us.army.mil. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
