Synopsis:

This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F2V1CA8140A001) is being issued as a Request for Quotation. This notice and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. This requirement is being set-aside 100% for Small Business. The item description is as follows: Contractor will provide all labor, tools and materials necessary to provide Line Item 0001: 6 ea (desert sand) ISU-70KCA Containers with HAZMAT panel, Line Item 0002: 3 Ea ISU Mobility Castor Sets. The Request for Quotation will be uploaded to this website as an amendment to this combined synopsis/solicitation and can be downloaded once it is posted. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 332439, and the size standard is 500 employees. Quotes must list the DUNS number, CAGE code, Delivery time, and Federal TIN. The following FAR and DFARS provisions and clauses apply: 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal. 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial. In accordance with 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items. Addendum to 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items; The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will provide the best value to the Government. Offers will be evaluated based on total price and equal products shall include specifications, pictures and/ or catalogs to provide sufficient data to show the like characteristics. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party. Before the offer's specified expiration time, the Government may accept an offer (or part of an offer), whether or not there are negotiations after its receipt, unless a written notice of withdrawal is received before award. 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification Commercial Items.
