| The Department of Central Management Services, Bureau of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement is giving notice of Illinois State Polices (ISP) intent to purchase RAE commodities consisting of replacement parts and accessories for RAE detectors and monitors currently in use. |

| Sole Source Only Justification: | The purchase of RAE commodities is essential to ensure that RAE scientific instruments currently in operation by the State Weapons of Mass Destruction Team (SWMDT) maintain certification and are maintained in a high state of readiness for deployment to 1.) prevent a potential theorist attach; 2.) respond to critical incidents with known or unknown hazards; 3.} protect the health, safety and welfare of SWMDT members and the public.
This is a sole source procurement since Environmental Safety Group is the sole provider since compatibility is paramount consideration in this purchase.
Any challenge to this Notice must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the published date shown below and to the person identified below. Late challenges will not be considered. Only a challenge with documentation, which sufficiently demonstrates and proves a prospective vendor's ability to meet all specifications and other requirements of the Agency making the award will be considered. The documentation must indicate a price equal to or lower than the amount shown in this Notice. |
