Synopsis:

Buckley Air Force Base, located in Aurora Colorado, is conducting a market survey to determine the sizes and types of businesses available for a potential firm fixed-price contract for intrusion detection equipment (IDE) maintenance for one base year plus four option years. A firm requirement has not yet been established. The contractor shall provide administration and maintenance services for BAFB IDS/AECS and subsystems. Equipment includes, but are not limited to: Fiber Optic Intrusion Detection System (FOIDS) sensors, South West Microwave 310 (MDS) sensors, Electrical Enclosure (EE) boxes, Balanced Magnetic Switch (BMS) sensors, Photo Electronic Beam Sensors (Pulnix), Infrared Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (IPIDS), Passive Infrared (PIR) Pyramid sensors, Fixed Pelco cameras, Pan Tilt Zoom (PTZ) Pelco Cameras, Lenel On-Guard IDS annunciator terminals, Lenel AECS terminals, and other equipment as necessary. Qualification requirements include but are not limited to: The contractor shall have all necessary certifications by Lenel to achieve successful operation of the Lenel system.

Note that this is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a request for proposal, or an announcement of a solicitation. The estimated cost for the life of the contract is $1.2M. NAICS code is 561621 with a size standard of $11.5M. All interested firms should notify this office in writing by mail, e-mail, or fax of your interest in this notice. Responses should include: (1) Identification of company size status, certifications, i.e., 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, small business. (2) Proof of experience and capability. Responses shall be limited to five (5) pages. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market survey nor return the data provided.
