Description: this is a sources sought announcement only. There is no solicitation available at this time. The 355th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research to seek qualified SBA Service Disabled Veteran sources and/or SBA Certified 8(a) sources capable of providing hoods, ducts, dryer vent, and paint booth exhaust cleaning services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561790, Duct cleaning services. Work includes: provide hood, duct, dryer vent, and Paint booth exhaust cleaning for facilities on Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. This IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY! Any information submitted is strictly voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this request.
CONTRACTOR EQUIPMENT SHALL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: The Contractor shall provide all tools, materials, and labor to perform the cleaning of exhaust Hoods & Ducts cleaning for 21 facilities per performance work statement . Cleaning of Dryer vents for 32 facilities. Cleaning of Paint Booths for 5 facilities. All facilities are on Davis-Monthan AFB. The contractor shall use only substances that comply with federal law concerning reduction of ozone depleting chemicals. Expected start date is 1 October 2008.

No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE WHETHER THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE SET-ASIDE FOR EITHER SBA DISABLED VETERANS PROGRAM OR CERTIFIED 8(a) PROGRAM.
