The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport, RI has a requirement for IT hardware in support of an Advanced Scientific and Engineering Computation Center (ASECC) upgrade. It consists of an integrated high-performance computer cluster, workstations and storage systems. These items have been configured to integrate as a unified system.
NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase on a firm fixed price basis the following item:
CLIN 0001- High Performance Computer Cluster. Quantity 1.
CLIN 0002- High-End Graphics Workstations. Quantity 4.
CLIN 0003- Mid-Range Graphics Workstations. Quantity 13.
CLIN 0004- Low-End Graphics Workstations. Quantity 9.
CLIN 0005- Network Attached Storage System. Quantity 2.
This procurement is 100% small business set aside. NAICS Code is 334111, size standard is 1,000 employees. Minimum specifications and further details will be released upon issue of RFP #N66604-08-Q-2731, which is anticipated to be on or about 04/09/2008.
