The proposed work consists of construction of approximately 8,530 feet of 8 € sanitary gravity sewer, 150-6 € sanitary sewer laterals, 9,450 feet of 6 € /8 € /12 € water mains; 108 single and/or double 2-inch water services; fire hydrants/valves, flushing and testing 625 feet of 15 € /18 € drainage pipe/exfiltration trench, 5 stormwater inlets; removal/disposal of 20,600 S.Y. of roadway pavement; reconstruction of roads; maintenance of traffic; dewatering; all restoration; sod; maintenance and repair of irrigation systems; pavement resurfacing; pavement markings and signage; and complying with permit conditions.
The project is in the northeast quadrant of Hidden Valley Subdivision, north of Hidden Valley Boulevard, Boca Raton, FL. There are approximately 150 residential homes which will receive central City sanitary sewer.
The estimated budget for this bid is $3.7 million.
By use of the Construction Bid Order Form (See Attachments section), bid documents are available for a non-refundable fee of $65.00, made payable by check, made out to the City of Boca Raton, at the address below, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. during normal business days. All interested parties are invited to attend a pre-bid conference on February 11, 2008 at 9:30 a.m., located in the Purchasing Conference Room, City Hall. Vendors are STRONGLY URGED urged to attend, be prompt and be familiarized with the bid documents. The pre-bid is not mandatory. This ITB is not available for electronic submission and requires the sealed bid to be submitted to the City of Boca Raton, Purchasing Division, 201 W. Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton, FL in accordance with the instructions identified in the ITB document.
