PRE SOLICITATION NOTICE: The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Mining Injury Prevention Branch, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has a requirement for a high speed digital camera.
This requirement is solicited as a small business set aside.
The CDC intends to award a single Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order in accordance with FAR Part 13.
A high speed digital camera, accessories, and data acquisition system are needed for recording ignition experiments inside a 20 liter explosion chamber. The purchase is in support of an intramural research project studying ignition hazards of battery powered mine communication and tracking equipment used in methane contaminated mine atmospheres.

High-speed digital camera, color, 2 GB memory, electronic shutter, with power supply and necessary cable assemblies.
