Synopsis:

Work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, for replacement of four (4) air handling units in Section BE and 1E. Work shall include the replacement of four (4) air handling units, replacement of valves, piping, ducting, electrical components, and any other required components, and all tools, supervision, and project record documents. The replacement of the air handling units will require phasing. Air handling units can be taken out of service only between 15 October 2008 and 16 March 2009. Project STL 07-0001 also includes a louvered penthouse being added to the top of an airshaft. The work shall be performed by a certified mechanical contractor with a minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience in the type of work to be performed. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NGA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 120 calendar days. The contractor shall be required to perform a certain amount of work on premium time to eliminate disruption of Government services. Current unit removal and new unit placement will be required to be submitted 30 days in advance of each unit removal/replacement to assist the Government with planning. The approximate cost of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code for this project is 238220, size standard $13.0M. This work is located at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, St. Louis, Missouri 63118. This project is 100 percent set-aside for small business.
