The Small Business Administration has a need to update its HUBZone maps based upon data received from several Federal agencies relating to unemployment, census tracts, BRAC areas, and difficult development areas. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capacility to respond to the requirement or submit proposalss. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all proposals received within seven (7) days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
SBA is looking for the following requirement to be performed:
1. Update of the maps with Bureau of Labor statistics from 2006/2007
2. Update the maps with Housing and Urban Development information from 2007/2008 qualified census tracts and 2008 non-metropolitan difficult development areas
3. Update the maps with the Office of Management and Budget s metropolitan statistical areas definition for 2007
4. Update the maps with 2005 BRAC areas
5. Update congressional district layer and cached pages
6. Test regression and test publishing
