THIS IS A SYNOPSIS/PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. Please read this notice in its entirety. Questions will not be accepted at this time. The solicitation release date is an estimated date only. Currently the solicitation is scheduled to be released on or about 03 June 2008. Letterkenny Army Depot has a requirement for the successful offeror to provide 23 tool systems to support the HMMWV chassis rebuild process. Except as specified for Chassis 3, each tool system consists of a direct current, torque controlled electric nut runner attached to a load balancer that is, in turn, attached to an articulating arm attached to a jib crane base located at the listed corner of the workstation. The NAICS code is 333512 with a size standard of 500, Federal Supply Code is 4910 and the SIC is 3559. Official release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) web site located at the following address: https//acquisition.army.mil. This acquisition is unrestricted. All respondents shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), have a valid DUNS number, Cage Code, and Tax Identification Number.
