Project Title: Elkhorn Ground Weed Spraying-The Helena N.F. intends to issue a solicitation for ground weed spraying located in the Elkhorn Wildlife Management Area west of Townsend, Montana. The work includes weed spraying of approximately 80 acres and 16.5 miles of trails within the management area. The government will provide herbicide, dye and surfactant. There will not be a pre-bid tour of the site. A firm fixed price contract is expected to result from this solicitation. This project is set-aside for small business. Estimated start work date is August 15, 2008. The solicitation will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request for Quote and will be available for downloading on or about July 11, 2008.
