| The Illinois Housing Development Authority (HDA) is giving notice of intent to enter into Software Maintenance, Support and Source Code Escrow Agreement for a one (1) year term (July 1, 2008 - June 30, 2009) for support of HDA's Single-Family Mortgage Loan Origination and Servicing software.
The Authority has previously entered into an agreement with Mitas Group for the intial purchase of software and services related to installation, custom implementation, project management, training, data conversion, etc. via a Request for Proposal in 2003. The original contract included renewal options through June 30, 2007. A sole economic feasible source contract was previously awarded for July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008.
If the Authority does not procure software maintenance, support and source code escrow services, the reisk is that the system can quickly become obsolete or unusable. The Authority would not be entitled to support and software patches from vendor and therefore would be unable to administer and maintain the Single Family Mortgage Loan Programs. |

Any challenge to this Notice must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the published date and to the person identified below. Late challenges will not be considered. Only a challenge with documentation which sufficiently demonstrates and proves a prospective vendors ability to meet all specifications and other requirements of the Agency making the award will be considered. The documentation must indicate a price equal to or lower than the amount shown in this Notice. |
