Synopsis:

The Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to award a competitive Firm Fixed Price contract and will utilize procedures under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall provide one Projection System to display the operational status of all electrical distribution systems on the Naval Base and the system shall show the location of the failure in the invent of a malfunction. The system shall include the following: 1 EA - High Definition Data Projector capable of displaying multiple images simultaneously from the Governments computer system. The projector shall have Native HD 1080P Pixel Resolution, 8000 ANSI Lumens, 450 MHZ bandwidth, digital light processing technology, 169HD format. This projector shall be heavy duty, capable of continuous 24/7 operation; 1 EA 1.11 High Definition fixed Lens, throw distance 16 feet off axis; 1 EA Projector Sound Baffle Kit; 1 EA Projector Mounting Plate; 1 EA Ceiling Projector Mount; 1 EA PC RGB Interface; 1 EA Projector Surge Suppressor; 1 EA wall Mount, 8 x 14, 16:9 Aspect Ratio, Projection Screen on a welded aluminum frame; 1 EA RGB Cable M/F; 1 EA CAD Configuration Programming DOC; and 1 Year Extended Warranty. There will be no installation required. Delivery is FOB Destination to NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic, 9742 Maryland Ave., Norfolk, VA 23511. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 01 August 2008 by downloading the documents at the NECO website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 443130. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above site; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make a contractor ineligible for award.
