Synopsis:

Furnish the following parts used on the U.S. Coast Guard Medium Range Surveillance (MRS) Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA) HC-144A. (1) NSN 5985-01-HS1-9715, P/N 179150-01 AS-106-27 Spinning Antenna, 5 each; (2) NSN 5963-01-HS1-9999, P/N 179020-01 RF Distribution PA, 5 each. Delivery to ARSC, Elizabeth City, NC or other operating units as directed is desired within 6 months and required within 12 months after date of contract award.. The Coast Guard intends to solicit and negotiate with the manufacturer, EDO-ITT, 18705 Madrone Parkway, Morgan Hill, CA, 95037 in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. All data and specifications are proprietary to the manufacturer and are not available through the Coast Guard. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed price contract. The USCG intends to negotiate and award to the authorized OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) or a responsible contractor who can provide a COC (Certificate of Conformance) with traceability to the OEM for the purchase of the items. Traceability means that the awardee must be able to show a clear documented, auditable paper trail for ownership and transfer of each part, from the OEM to the final vendor. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement and proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Requests for this solicitation must be in writing.
