Synopsis:

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This acquisition is being conducted using the procedures in FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F3ZT898129A001; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-25; Defense DCN 20080423; Air Force AFAC 2008-0128. This acquisition will be 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 423830. The business size standard is 100 Employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 6115. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 5084.

The government will be willing to accept equal items as long as those items meet the specifications of the below line items. This request for quotation consists of the following items on an all or none basis:

Item 0001: Quantity-2 each. HB24N Horizonal Remote Young Radiator or equivalent for A Cummins diesel generator model number QST30-G1. CPL 2968 Engine (RPM), with the following components:
-1800 Horse Power (HP)
-Kilo Watts (kW),750
-Coolant flow gpm 238
-Elevation 300 feet (ASL)
-Ambient temp Max 108 (F)
To include: Low-level gauage and switch. Surge tank A wind/zone 4 structure Engine specifications will be provided upon request. Designs must be submitted to CEMIRT at Travis AFB before final approval. Deliever to Western Air Defence Sector (WADS) McChord AFB, Washington 98436.
The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.209.6, Protecting the Government's Interests. FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
