Colville National Forest, Growden Drop Inlet Stabilization. The Colville National Forest located in North East Washington State has a requirement to stabilize a slope in the Growden Heritage area on the Three Rivers Ranger District in Ferry County, Washington.



The Contractor shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman s compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the specification and provisions of the contract. The project consists of excavating and hauling riprap from the Lane Creek Riprap Pit to the Growden Heritage Site along State Route 20. The Contractor shall excavate out around existing drop inlet and stockpile material adjacent to the drop inlet and place the riprap on the excavated slope. The Contractor shall provide a tracked, hydraulic excavator a with gross vehicle weight between 20,000 and 70,000 pounds with a thumb..



Work is estimated to begin in October 13, 2008 with a completion date 21 calendar days from the notice to proceed.



Magnitude of construction is between $0 and $25,000.



This project will be advertised as a written quotation and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is September 16, 2008. Quotes are estimated to be due October 1, 2008. The actual due date will be listed in the solicitation.



This acquisition is set-aside for Emerging Small Business concerns. The NAICS code is 237990, size standard $31 million.



Funding is currently not available for this project.
