Synopsis:

The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price requirements type contract for one base period plus two option periods for an annual estimate of 10,600 cots (metal, portable, foldable) that will be used in the support of a 250-patient deployable hospital program. Minimum requirements/mandatory characteristics are as follows: cot, foldable, portable, metal frame with spring-type deck, leg locks and braces, 2" foam mattress with mattress cover that is antimicrobial, hypoallergenic, and flame retardant. Dimensions of offered cot must be greater than or equal to 78 inches long (or equivalent metric measurement), greater than or equal to 32 inches wide (or equivalent metric measurement), and greater than or equal to 18 inches tall (or equivalent metric measurement). Offered cot must be able to support patient weight of 350 pounds or more (or equivalent metric measurement). Dimensions when folded must be no more than 8 inches high by 32 inches wide by 42 inches long. Cot must weigh no more than 21 pounds (or equivalent metric measurement).
