Description
Gen II 25mm Tube and Magnifier Assembly, Image Intensifier (NSN: 5855-01-027-1554 and part/drawing number p/n-SM-D-771212-1).

This is a market survey to locate potential sources of supply and vendors for the Gen II 25mm Tube and Magnifier Asse mbly, Image Intensifier (NSN: 5855-01-027-1554 and part/drawing number p/n-SM-D-771212-1). The tube and magnifier assembly is located internally within the main housing assembly of the VVS-2 Drivers Night Sight, Night Vision Device.     The VVS-2 Drivers Ni ght Sight, Night Vision Device enables a closed-hatch vehicle to be driven during night time conditions without active illumination.     The drivers viewer uses an image intensifier and electronic circuitry to increase the brightness of low light levels, thu s enabling the driver to drive under blackout conditions and also observe around the vehicle at night.     The estimated quantity is approximately one thousand five hundred per year Gen II 25mm Tube and Magnifier Assembly, Image Intensifier from the source of     supply and or vendor.     Any interested sources must send the following information, NLT 19 February 2008, to CECOM LCMC LRC, IEW/S Directorate, and ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-N-II (Nykisha Kimble) Bldg. 1201W, 3rd Floor,     Ft. "       Notification of the contractor as a Large or a Small Business.     If a Small Business, please identify as an 8(a), HUB Zone, Disadvantaged, Women-Owned, or non-disadvantaged.      
"       Past Performance for these or similar items.     The contractor shall submit their part number, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have production experience.     Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided.
"       The contractor shall cite the quality standard (either Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort.
"       The contractor must provide information to show that he possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment , tooling, and space) to enable him, or his subcontractors, to produce this item.     Also, the contractor shall provide information on his production plan for these items, as the government can not provide a complete technical data package.
