Synopsis:

This solicitation is to procure gaskets, bellow assemblies, filter elements, pistons, cases, cylinder covers and seal plates for main feed pump. This requirement is to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Case Marine and Industrial, distributor for Woodward Governors, Inc per FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement will be negotiated utilizing FAR parts 12 and 13.5. Delivery will be no later than 17 October 2008 and will be delivered FOB Destination to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA 98314. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from the website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments. The government is not responsible for any inability of the offeror to access the posted documents. No telephone or fax request will be accepted, and no hard-copy solicitation/amendment will be mailed or faxed. The solicitation is not available at this time, but should be posted to NECO on approximately 28 August 2008.
