This requirement was initially posted on June 29, 2007 with incorrect RFP number SP0600-07-0320. Correct RFP number is SP0600-07-R-0320.The Government intends to execute an unrestricted procurement for production and delivery of 104,800 standard liters, estimated quantity, of commercial Gaseous Xenon in Cylinders, NSN: 6830-04-478-6047, 99.999%., Grade (EW), IAW Purchase Description Xenon, Technical, Dated 25 Aug 03. Delivery will be FOB Destination to: Edwards AFB, CA, Pratt Whitney Rocketdyne, Canoga Park, CA, and Kennedy Space Center, FL. The ordering periods and quantities vary by location and will be specified in the Request for Proposal. Resultant Contract(s) will be firm fixed price, requirements type contract(s).
Solicitation will be issued on or about 05 Jul 07 and posted to FedBizOpps web page at (http://www.fedbizopps.gov/). SP0600-07-R-0320 WAS PREVIOUSLY ANNOUNCED AS A FIRM FIXED PRICE REQUIREMENTS TYPE CONTRACT. SP0600-07-R-0320 HAS CHANGED TO A MULTIPLE AWARD(S) BLANKET PURCHASE AGREEMENTS (BPA). FOURTH CUSTOMER (WRIGHT PATTERSON AFB, OH) IS ADDED. ANY NEW FUTURE DESC CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTS FOR GASEOUS XENON WILL BE MET UNDER RESULTANT BPA ALSO. PERFORMANCE PERIOD IS SEPTEMBER 1, 2008 THROUGH AUGUST 31, 2013. RFP AMENDMENT SPO600-07-R-0320-0001 WILL BE ISSUED AND POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS WEB SITE ON JUNE 13, 2008. RFP AMENDMENT SP0600-07-R-0320-0002 WILL BE POSTED TO FEDBIZ OPPS WEB SITE ON JULY 1, 2008. THIS AMENDMENT PROVIDES NEW CLAUSE L2.35.100 PROPOSAL FORMAT AND CONTENT (AEROSPACE ENERGY) (DESC JUN 2008). THIS AMENDMENT ALSO CORRECTS AN ERROR IN RFP AMENDMENT SP0600-07-R-0320-0001.
