Synopsis:

The Government intends to issue an unrestricted procurement for production and delivery of Gaseous Nitrogen (GN2), TYPE I, GRADE A pipeline, in accordance with (IAW) MIL-PRF-27401D, dated 3 Oct 1995, Propellant Pressurizing Agent, to support Pratt & Whitney at West Palm Beach, FL. The requirement is for an estimated total quantity of 900,000 MC of GN2. Requirement is for uninterrupted delivery (with the exception of coordinated downtime for maintenance of pipeline) of GN2 product, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Delivery is FOB Destination into the pipeline at Pratt & Whitney, Government Engines & Space Propulsion. This procurement will be issued as a full and open competitive acquisition to establish a five (5) year firm fixed-price requirements-type contract. Subject solicitation will be issued on or about 5 August 2008 and posted on the FedBizOps website at: www.fbo.gov.
