The National Data Buoy Center intends to negotiate only with Harsh/Synergetics, Inc. of Eaton, CO for 30 Each, Model 14A-N QFH RHCP High Angle UHF Omni Directional GOES antennas with female "N" connector and 10 each Model 15A-N QFH RHCP low angle UHF Omni directional GOES antennas with female "N" connector. These antennas are the only antennas that have been certified for use with the Sutron HDR GOES transmitter with 40 wat amplifier. The antennas accompany the HDR GOES systems on NOOS buoys. They will be used in hurricane alley and require a look angle above 45 degrees elevation and with a low look angle for alaskan buoys.
