Complete the construction of a new Carrier Annex in Gilbert, AZ, on property owned by the
U.S. Postal Service.
The project includes providing all labor and material for construction of a USPS SSBD100C carrier annex per the architect s drawings and specifications, including, but not limited to, licenses, taxes, all site preparation, vehicular parking and drive lanes paving, landscaping, signage, and related site work; and construct the approximate10,400 gross square foot carrier annex building plus an open platform with dock equipment.
Estimated construction cost range is between $1.3 and $1.6 Million. The performance time is 240 calendar days after the notice to proceed is issued. Construction must be completed by April 1, 2009.
THIS SOLICITATION IS OPEN TO GENERAL/PRIME CONTRACTORS WHO MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: (1) Company must have a minimum of five years experience in government or commercial new building construction; (2) Company must have completed three comparable projects within the past five years; and (3) Company must be capable of obtaining performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract price for this project. Award will be made under this solicitation to the qualified offeror who provides the best value to the Postal Service. This is not a sealed bid advertisement, and proposals will NOT be publicly opened.
