Amendment 0001 was previously issued to include line item 0283; Amendment 0002 was previously issued to update the item descriptions on some line items; Amendment 0003 was issued to extend the due date to 17 JAN 2008 and Amendment 0004 is hereby issued to update the item description on line item 0242.
PR Number: IQC072620090103 Various Federal Stock Group (FSG) 53 items (5305, 5306, 5307, 5310, 5315, 5320, 5325, 5330, 5331 and 5340) possibly adding other FSG 53 items on a post award basis via add/delete). Solicitation Number SPM5AZ-08-R-0051 GENERAL ELECTRIC CAGES 99207, 07482 and 01289 RESTRICTED SOURCE (APPROVED/ACCEPTABLE SOURCE). Nomenclature: Various including bolt, machine; nut, self-locking; pin, straight headed; stud, turnlock fastener and insert, screw, thread. Inspection Requirements: Destination inspection on some line items and source inspection requirements on other line items which will be stated in the solicitation. Product verification testing (PVT) applies on several line items. FOB Destination. End Item Use: various aircraft, helicopters and aircraft engines. This is a Commercial Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) Solicitation. This acquisition is being solicited on an unrestricted basis. Issue Date: 19 NOV 2007; RFP Due Date: 17 JAN 2008 - 4PM Local Philadelphia Time. This is an Indefinite Quantity (IQC) Solicitation. This procurement is for a two year base. The solicitation contains an option to extend the term of the contract for three (3) additional one year periods. The Units of Issue are primarily EACH. This procurement is for 282 Core Items. 298 Items have been identified as possible items that may be added on a post-award basis via Add/Delete clause. The total universe is 580 items. The first NSN is 5305-00-766-5323. This solicitation requests offers on a stock basis only - delivery to CONUS (excluding Alaska and Hawaii). This procurement also contains a guaranteed minimum. Required Delivery is: 350 days or sooner. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the Agency. The EBS/BSM Computer System only accepts a unit price including two decimal places so offers must be provided in accordance with this requirement. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) clauses are included in the solicitation. Offers will be evaluated with Technical Merit determined to be more important than price. These items are not Qualified Products List (QPL) items. This solicitation contains surge and sustainment requirements. Surge Pricing is included in the solicitation. This contract action is for supplies which the Government does not possess complete, unrestricted technical data, therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only one or a limited number of sources under FAR 6.302-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C ) (1). Numbered Note 22 applies.
