Synopsis:

The Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) Contracting Office, on behalf of the Global Cyberspace Integration Center (GCIC), Langley AFB, VA is issuing this announcement as a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and FAR part 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
The solicitation number is F2QT288109A001. This solicitation is issued as an invitation for a request for proposal (RFP) in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement
This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25.
This requirement is for sponsoring student interns on the campus of GCIC. This will facilitate identification of emerging concepts, and to promote AF Cyberspace to the university / academic communities, GCIC is establishing the Cyberspace Innovation and Integration Initiative (CI3) to host interns in their facility. The interns will perform targeted investigation and research on concepts applicable to the AF Cyber mission, under mentorship of GCIC personnel..
