Synopsis:

Network 22 Logistics Office, intends to negotiate a Firm-Fixed Price commercial (FAR Part 13) sole source contract with a Small Business concern, 24-hour Fitness, 18101 Von Karman Ave., Suite 100, Irvine, CA 92612 under the authority of FAR 6.303. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 713940 and the small business size standard is $6.5 Million. This requirement is for the acquisition of gym memberships for our Veteran population and Employee members of VISN 22. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for other than full and open competition is being prepared in support of this acquisition. Twenty-Four-hour Fitness shall provide Membership at facilities located within the Network service areas of Las Vegas, Long Beach, Loma Linda, Los Angeles, and San Diego at distances of 25 miles or less. As part of the membership services will include (1) nautilus equipment (2) weights (3) a variety of classes (4) trained experts to guide in healthy fitness and (5) Data Reports identifying overall membership within each service area. Delivery and acceptance of reports is F.O.B. Destination to the VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 5901 E. 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. Services are to be rendered from date of award through one-year, with two (2) one-year options to renew. -Interested persons may identify their capability to respond to the requirement by submitting their request in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, E-mail address and point of contact.
