1. SCOPE OF WORK
1.1. Visits (Home/Appropriate site): Face-to-face visits shall be conducted by the Contractor to welcome newly arrived family members of US military, DOD and other authorized personnel. The Contractor will provide information about the local military community, services available to family members, and encourage registration with the unit Noncombatant Evacuation Coordinator.
1.2. Support Group Meetings and Activities. These meetings and activities shall be conducted by the Contractor with the primary objective of sharing information with authorized spouses and establishing a support network for spouses.
1.3. Meetings/activities shall consist of three (3) or more spouses living in the Contractor's area of responsibility. Meetings may be held in the military chapel facilities or other local facilities. At least one (1) event per month shall be a sit down and talk meeting for the sole purpose of sharing information and a time of companionship with other spouses. One (1) event per month may be an event which would be considered educational or assist the spouses in appreciating Korean culture.
1.4. OPC Coordination/Training Meeting: Attendance at the Cross-Cultural Training and Counseling Center (CTCC), IMCOM-Korea, OPC monthly training meeting is mandatory. The meeting will normally be conducted at the Memorial Chapel on Yongsan Main Post (Bldg #1597.) The meeting will normally be held the second Monday of each month (second Tuesday if that Monday is a holiday.) Meeting dates may be changed at the call of the Program Director, but will be announced no less than two weeks in advance.
2. Contractors Minimum Qualification. The contractor shall:
(a) possess in depth knowledge in U.S. military members and their family members life style.
(b) possess profound knowledge and skills in multi-culture life setting in relation to U.S. military community presence in Korea.
(c) have related work experience of minimum 6 months in theU.S. military community.
(d) The contractor has English and Korean language proficiency both in written and verbal areas.
(e) The contractor has minimum a high school graduate degree or GED certificate.
