Synopsis:

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-08-Q-0404 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25 (iv) This procurement is being issued on an unrestricted basis. (v) CLIN 1: 84 ea. Actuator, 5-ton, Duff-Norton part number M9005-X, model M9005-15, Standard ratio 6:1, upright translating, with top plate. 7" closed height; CLIN 2: 84 ea. jaw type coupling, .75 x .75, Duff-Norton part number SK9000-20-5-7; CLIN 3: 42 ea. Shaft, .75 Dia by up to 14" long, exact length to be determined during manufacture, Duff-Norton part number SH75 Shafting; CLIN 4: 168 ea. Key, 3/16 sq., Duff-Norton part number S10-6C; CLIN 5: 84 ea. Top plate with 4 tapped holes and hardware to attach to the top plate on the actuator. 6" diameter, 1.5 inches thick aluminum. Duff-Norton part number Special Top Plate; CLIN 6: 84 ea. Hex driver, 1 3/8 hex, with .750 bore and key, with two set screws to mount to a five ton actuator, 1.5 inches in length. Duff-Norton part number Special Hex Key; (vi) FAR 52.211-6-Brand Name or Equal, applies. If providing a proposal on an or-equal basis, include appropriate documentation/specifications for justification/approval. Quoted unit prices to include all applicable taxes, fees, and delivery charges. (vii) Delivery to be FOB Destination, Davis-Monthan AFB, Tucson AZ, within 30 days ARO.
