NOTICE TO BIDDERS

INVITATION FOR BIDS to Furnish delivery and collection transportation services within the Counties of Hawaii and/or Maui and/or Kauai and/or the City & County of Honolulu in accordance with IFB-08-DC.

Bids will be received at the Office of Elections (hereinafter OE ), 802 Lehua Avenue, Pearl City, Hawaii 96782 until 3:00 p.m., H.S.T. on June 10, 2008, at which time and place they will be publicly opened. Bids received after the time and date fixed for opening shall not be considered. The OE reserves the right to cancel this solicitation at any time and reject any proposal in whole or in part.

Potential Bidders interested in responding to this solicitation may do so by using the electronic solicitation posted on the Procurement Notice System website. Bidder must first register itself by completing and submitting the Registration Form for Online IFBs and RFPs which is also posted on the Procurement Notice System website. The Registration Form must be e-mailed to lori.tomczyk@hawaii.gov or faxed to (808) 453-6006 prior to the deadline for bid submittal. Upon registration, bidder is requested to print a hard copy of the solicitation. If Bidder fails to register, Bidder will not receive any addenda and/or other procurement notices; its bid may therefore be rejected and not considered for award.

All bids shall be made on the solicitation document available from the OE or via the Procurement Notice System. All bids must be completed in accordance with the accompanying instructions. Inquiries may be directed to the OE at telephone 808-453-8683 or facsimile 808-453-6006.

A pre-proposal conference may be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., upon request.
