The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Develoment (DHUD) intends to issue Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number Q8C5AAC0010 in support of the HUD Headquarters, Office of University and Partnership, Office of Policy Development and Research (PD&R).; The proposed procurement will be issued pursuant to the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) not to exceed $100,000. The objectives of the proposed procurement is to obtain the services of a qualified small business contractor who has the experience to Conduct two (2) four and one-half day, hands on technical assistance training workshops. The training workshops must be designed to provide guidance and insight on the Fundamentals of Construction Management to Historically Black Colleges (HBCUs) and their Community Development Corporiations (CDCs) that are carrying out or plan to carry out projects funded through HUD's HBCU program. The proposed Period of Performanace is six (6) months from notice to proceed for the required training. The Size Standard is $6.5 million. The anticipated issuance date of the RFQ is June25, 2008. The RFQ will be released electronically. The notice will be posted on HUD Internet Home Page Contracting Opportunities website: www.hud.gov/offices/cpo/contact.cfm. Potential Offerors are asked to frequently checkFedBizOpps to see if HUD has issued any admendments to the RFQ you obtain. Hardcopies of the RFQ may be obtain by sending and e-mail message to Mona.K. Collins@hud.gov or in writing at the attention of Mona Collins, Contract Specialist, HUD Chicago Contracting Operations Branch, 77 West Jackson Blvd., Room 2505, Chicago, Illinois 60604-3507. Please reference the RFQ Number. An Award will be made to an offeror on the basis of Best Value to the Government, in consideration of both price and non-price factors.
