This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), Reference No. 09ART0005. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-26. The NACIS code is 424720, size standard of 100 employees. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC), Artesia, New Mexico intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the following:
The Contactor, shall provide, on a keep-full basis (fill, as a minimum, once per week), the following fuel requirements. Contractor is also required to be able to fill tanks within 24 hour notice by the FLETC.
1. 10,000 Gallon Fuel Tank with Unleaded Fuel Estimated Quantity is 60,000 gallons.
2. 10,000 Gallon Fuel Tank with Diesel Fuel Estimated Quantity is 60,000 gallons.
3. 10,000 Gallon Fuel Tank with E-85 Fuel Estimated Quantity is 60,000 gallons.
Delivery address is Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, 91 Gunpowder Road, Artesia, NM 88210. Prices shall include delivery to the FLETC, Artesia, NM, and applicable taxes. The Government anticipates awarding the contract for an 8 month base period beginning from October 1, 2008 through May 31, 2009 with a 4 month option. Tanks are currently being installed. The first fuel delivery is anticipated in October, 2008 upon notification from the FLETC.
