Front Country Road Repair- 3N31Y : This work consists of the installation of a MSE retaining wall to re-establish the road bed in a portion of the road impacted by a landslide, rehabilitation of roadway adjacent to the landslide, and installation and repair of drainage structures, and other items as specified in the drawings and specifications. The project is located between Lytle Creek and Wrightwood, on the Front Country Ranger District, San Bernardino National Forest. From San Bernardino, proceed north on Interstate 15. Exit Highway 138 and proceed west. Turn left on Lone Pine Canyon Road toward Wrightwood. Turn left on Forest Service Road 3N31Y, just past Clyde Ranch. Proceed approximately 2 miles to the project site.
NAICS is 237310. Small Business Size Standard is $31.M. Price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Solicitation will be a Request for Proposal (RFP) under FAR Part 15 requiring the submission of a technical and a price proposal. A bid bond is required. No site visit nor pre-proposal conference will be held. The solicitation will be available for download only from this website on or about 08/4/2008. Plans and drawings will be available on this website with the solicitation or on a file transfer protocol (.ftp) site that shall be identified in the solicitation. No paper solicitations, drawings or amendments will be issued. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the Government. Offerors must be registered in the Contractor Central Registration (CCR) database as a certified HUBZone Small Business in order to be eligible to submit a proposal. ORCA electronic annual FAR Representations and Certifications shall be completed at website http://orca.bpn.gov, FAR Provision 52.204-8 is included in the solicitation.
