This is a sources sought solicitation only for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with addition information included in this notice. The announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation HSCG28-07-Q-3YS176 is issued as a TOTAL SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov.far/. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 335999 and Small Business size standard is 500. Quote price and total for the following items:
Line item 1. Fore Eyes 2020 hand held digital pocket video recorder with 20 GB memory, (2020-NA), color 3.5 TFT LCD with model 2020 interface unit including: interface cable (20-IC-SZ-6, 6 foot) 2 AA batteries, carrying pouch with chest harness straps (20CP), USB cable (20USB), instruction manual (201M and 20 IN-A), A/C charger for pocket recorder (20CA, 100-240 VAC), 20 CA-FE, charger adapter for ForeEyes 2020. Plastic carrying case (20PCC), 3 each. Line item 2. DZ series videoscope 8mm, 2.0m length, 4 way articulation, (DZ4-8-200) 3 each. Line item 3. Light source Brilliant white LED battery powered light source with A/C power supply, (420-0038) 3 each. Line item 4. Sea View BW Cam 150 Offshore series camera modelBW-150-C IR with modified cabel to interface with ForeEyes 2020-NA, 3 each. Line item 5. Battery pack for Sea View (DZL-12DVC) 3 each.
The Government will award a contract to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is the most advantageous to the government price, quality, past performance and other factors considered. All offers will be evaluated in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR subpart 13.106. The provision at 52.212-1, instruction to Offerors-commercial items (Oct 2003) and 52.215-5 facsimile proposals (Oct 1997) apply to this solicitation. The provision of 52.212-3, offeror representations and certification, commercial items (Jan 2005), shall be completed and submitted with this RFQ. Complete and provide all information in this solicitation and provisions of all cited FAR clauses, to receive an award. The vendor must be registered in CCR (Central Contractor Registration Database).
