Synopsis:

This solicitation is to provide services for the establishment and maintenance of food plots to be used for deer capture on the Department of Energy s (DOE) Savannah River Site (SRS) near Aiken, South Carolina. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment (except as noted herein), lime, fertilizer, seed, and safety supplies.3. There will be two phases to the work: establishment and maintenance. Beginning in September and completed no later than November 10, the contractor shall establish a crop of wheat and oats in 20 food plots, each approximately 0.25 acres in size, for the purpose of capturing deer. Beginning January 2 and running no later than April 30, as determined by USFS, the contractor shall maintain a bait line of shelled corn on each plot and monitor its use by deer via infrared-triggered trail cameras. The USFS shall establish the location of each bait line (with one at each plot), deploy cameras (one at each bait line), and establish settings on cameras.. The size standard for this unrestricted solicitation is $6.5 million under NAICS code 1115310. The solicitation will be set-aside for small business concerns. No site visit will be held. Photographs are provided to show typical project site conditions. Savannah River Site is a restricted access Government facility and vehicle searches are done on all vehicles entering the Site. No contraband items, such as guns, ammunition, drugs etc. are allowed on Site. A picture ID of persons entering the Site is required. A minimum of 72 hours is required to process any security badge requests for U.S. Citizens and up to 30 days could be required for non-U.S. citizens. Offerors must register on the site in order to receive notification of changes to the solicitation. The offeror is responsible for monitoring this site for release of any subsequent postings. All interested parties must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as prescribed by FAR Clause 52.204-7 and ORCA.
