Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.          

This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.     NGA intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13.     The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 423210     with a small business size standard of 500 employees.     The solicitation number for this requirement is NSIG28051AS03. The NGA plans to issue a firm fixed price purchase order under FAR Part 12 and 13.     The requirement is for the following items:

CLIN 0001 Folding Tables Qty. 114 each in accordance with the following:
Folding Table Salient Characteristics:

a.       Size:     18 inch d x 60 inch w x 29 inch h
b.       30 Year Warranty
c.       Base Color:     Black
d.       Laminate Top:     Wilsonart #4557-60 Dakota Ridge.
e.       Top Edging: Black PVC edging.      
f.       Base Construction:    
i.       Folding tubular steel base, T-leg with double columns, constructed of welded, cold rolled 1-1/2 inch steel tubing with MIG welded end caps, polished for seamless appearance.
ii.       Columns to be permanently bolted to the base for a seamless appearance and fully TIG welded to the folding mechanism.
iii.       Folding mechanism must be spring loaded, fully riveted to a steel mounting plate with an easy to find molded release lever and safe, no-pinch points operation.    
iv.       Integral catch to hold legs in folded position.
v.       Vinyl bumpers to be integrated into the mechanism to allow for a non-marring 3-1/2 inch stacking height, to protect each table from scratching.        
g.       Top Construction:    
i.       1-1/8 inch thick 45# industrial grade particle board with lightweight core required for 30% reduction in table weight for ease of moving and storage.    
ii.       Top to be laminated under continuous pressure using cold PVA glue with HPL laminate and balanced with backing sheet.

i.       1 inch diameter stainless steel, rubber cushioned glides with 1 inch long stem secured with fully threaded rivets to maintain stability.

Delivery is FOB destination NGA Building 1, 3200 So. Second St. St. Louis,MO 63118.The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
Delivery is required on or before 30 April 2008.
