This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. RFQ NUMBER: SP4704-08-Q-1033. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This is a brand name requirement for Plasma Flat Panel Monitors and Interactive Overlays for those monitors including installation. This is a small business set-aside. NAICS: 334119 SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD: 1,000 employees. The Requirement consists of the following:

Justification for Brand Name Only:
Panasonic 65 Plasma Flat Panel Monitor: Market research indicated that Panasonic is the only manufacturer that provides 65 Plasma Flat Panel Monitors.
50 Plasma Flat Panel Monitor: This can be any manufacturer as long as it meets the criteria listed under the item description and A SMART Interactive Overlay is available for that model/brand.
SMART Interactive Overlay: Only known interactive overlays that can replicate content from a computer screen with a screen overlay that allows the user to write on the overlay and save the data back to the computer. SMART Overlays are brand/Item specific.
Monitor and Overlay are a matched pair.
Video/Audio Boards are hardware specific for the hardware supplied.
Wall Mounts are monitor specific.
Statement of Work for the Installation:
Install plasma flat panel monitor on wall with static wall mount. Install SMART Overlay onto plasma flat panel monitor. Install two wall mounted speakers (Black) on each side of plasma flat panel monitor. Install surface mount plastic raceway on wall for both plasma flat panel monitor and wall behind computer. Install surface mount plastic single gang wall box on both walls.
Wall plate #1will be a single-gang wall plate behind computer with (1) VGA + (1) Computer Audio + (1) Composite Video + (1) Left/Right RCA Audio. Government is responsible for any necessary electrical (i.e., to plasma flat panel monitor, etc.). Government is responsible for the loading of the SMART software onto the Government computers.
