Synopsis:

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single Government point-of-entry (GPE) for the posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award the FY 09- FY 11 requirements for Ring Laser Gyro Navigators (RLGN) and Ring Laser Gyrocompasses (RLG) and associated Technical/Test Program Support and Engineering Services on a sole source basis to Northrop Grumman, Sperry Marine, 1070 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, VA, 22901. The contract will provide for up to seventy-eight RLGs and RLGNs of various configurations. Northrop Grumman, Sperry Marine as the original equipment manufacturer, possesses the design, data, and expertise necessary to provide the supplies within the time required to meet the Navys requirements.
