U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District, Mobile, P.O. Box 2288, 109 Saint Joseph Street, Mobile, AL 37728-0001. 2,800 feet of Pipe for a New Dredge Material Disposal Area at Coffeeville Lock and Dam, Coffeeville, Alabama.

THE CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH 2,800 FEET OF SEAMLESS STEEL CASING PIPE, STANDARD 30 INCH OUTSIDE DIAMETER, 0.375 INCHES THICK, ASTM A252, GRADE 2, WITH 30 DEGREE BEVELED ENDS, IN 40 FOOT LENGTHS. FOR DELIVERY, THE PIPE MUST BE SUFFICIENTLY CHOCKED WITH TIMBERS ON EACH SIDE TO PREVENT ROLLING DURING UNLOADING. THE TIMBERS WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE GOVERNMENT AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. THE PIPE WILL BE DELIVERED TO COFFEEVILLE LOCK AND DAM LOCATED OFF OF HIGHWAY 84 WEST, APPROXIMATELY 3 MILES FROM COFFEEVILLE, ALABAMA. THE MAILING ADDRESS IS 697 COFFEEVILLE LOCK AND DAM ROAD, SILAS, ALABAMA 36919-5566. THE PIPE WILL BE OFFLOADED BY THE GOVERNMENT AT GOVERNMENT EXPENSE. THE PIPE MUST BE DELIVERED BY 2 P.M. The Solicitation package will be available on or about 08 August 2008. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business. The size standard for which is a concern, including its affiliates whose number of employees do not exceed 1000. The NAICS code is 331210. The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format; however the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Governments best interest.
