Synopsis:

The National Cemetery Administration intends to solicit proposals under Solicitation VA-786-08-RP-0107 for the following requirements: The contractor shall be required to provide services to perform all work as specified in the solicitation for Ft. Leavenworth National Cemetery, Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas. Services to include all labor, parts, equipment, supervision, quality control, transportation, materials, supplies, etc., to do the following: - Raise, realign, and clean headstones and markers, - Renovate burial ground/turf areas, - Remove concrete collars from upright marble headstones. The solicitation will provide details on estimated quantity and locations of specific sections. Award will be made to the contractor best able to meet the needs of the government. Award will be made based upon the following criteria in descending order or importance: Past Performance of Same or Similar experience, Technical Qualifications including compliance with required certifications, and Price. Past Performance and Technical Qualifications when combined, are significantly more important than Price. This contract shall be for a period of 365 days from date of award. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 327390. Size standard is $6.5 million. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about April 7, 2008. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about May 5, 2008 (2pm). Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining amendments. See Numbered Note 29.
