Synopsis:

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex, Coleman, Florida, intends to issue solicitation RFQ30211-0005-9, for the requirements of: RELIGIOUSLY CERTIFIED MEALS FOR 220 INMATES. Requirement includes all meals each day (breakfast, lunch and dinner), seven days/week to begin approximately OCTOBER 1, 2008 through DECEMBER 31, 2008. This solicitation is restricted to 100% Small Business, FOB Destination, at the Federal Correctional Complex, 846 NE 54th Terrace, Coleman, FL 33521. The contract type is a firm-fixed price. The Government reserves the right upon award to make formal single or multiple awards. The Government will award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be the most advantageous to the Government, with past performance and price considered, prices being rated higher than past performance. The solicitation will be made available on or about AUGUST 15, 2008, and will be posted to the General Services Administration s Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to insure they have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is SEPTEMBER 8, 2008. All quoters must be registered at the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) prior to award. Payment will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Upon request, vendors may be required to provide samples of product quoted, prior to award.
