The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) hereby is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) 08_0277055 for the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division System of Services Refreshment Program (SOSRP). This contract will provide information technology (IT) services essential for the technology refreshment, sustainment and enhancement of the CJIS System of Services. This RFP is being issued as a full and open competition. Interested providers are requested to review the attached RFP Cover Letter and associated documents (Non-Disclosure Agreement, Acquisition Risk Questions, Key Management Personnel Listing and Non-U.S. Citizen Citizenship) for instructions on responding to the RFP. The RFP and associated documents are available on FedBizOpps. PLEASE NOTE: CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED AND INSTRUCTED TO SUBMIT A LETTER OF INTENT TO SUBMIT AN OFFER WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS OF THIS RELEASE. Those contractors indicating an intent to submit an offer will be invited to participate in Due Diligence to include an Industry Day and One-on-One Sessions. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) posted the Request for Proposal (RFP) #08_0277055 on April 28, 2008 for the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Division System of Services Refreshment Program (SOSRP). This SPECIAL NOTICE is to provide interested contractors with additional information regarding the upcoming Industry Day. The purpose of the Industry Day is to provide interested contractor with specific information regarding the CJIS Division and its information technology environment. The FBI has planned Industry Day to begin at 8:00 a.m. on May 20, 2008 in the CJIS Division auditorium.
Interested contractors are invited to attend the Industry Day Conference. There is a limit of five persons per company with no exceptions. Both potential Prime Contractors as well as potential Sub-Contractors are welcome to attend. To register for the conference, please provide a Letter of Intent to the Contracting Officer, Ms. Linda Patterson at lpatters@leo.gov no later than Friday, May 9, 2008. Additionally, please complete and return the attached Access Office Visit Request Form and Non-Disclosure Agreement form to both Ms. Juanita Jeffries at jjeffrie@leo.gov (tel: 304-625-5544, fax: 304-625-6066) and Ms. Tammy Clark at tclark4@leo.gov (tel: 304-625-2334, fax: 304-625-3697) also no later than Friday, May 9, 2008. Registration forms and Non-Disclosure forms received after that date will not be accepted and those persons will not be admitted to the facility. The FBI reserves the right of refusal for any/all attendees regardless of nationality. Non-Disclosure Agreements will be required from everyone.
When completing the Access Office Visit Request Form, please include your FULL NAME. Do not use middle initials. Also include, Jr., Sr., III, etc. Provide your date of birth, place of birth and Social Security Number. If you are a naturalized citizen, include your Alien Registration Number. If you were born in a foreign country, you must provide proof of your citizenship. Please note that the Department of Justice(DOJ)/FBI does not permit the use of non-U.S. citizens in the performance of any contract or commitment for any position that involves access to or development of any DOJ Information Technology System. Thus, no non-U.S. citizens may register for attendance to the conference. Also, provide the Issuing State of your Driver s license, the Driver s license number, the identity of your company, the date and purpose of the visit. In order to access the site on Industry Day, contractor personnel must show a valid government-issued photo identification at the Visitor s Center prior to being allowed on-site. Please be advised that due to security requirements, cameras; blackberries; laptops; cell phones; recording devices, etc., are prohibited from the facility.
