The AMC Contracting Flight anticipates issuance of a sole source contract to Mr. Norman Ellard, 25 Summit Street, Wellfleet, MA 02667 to provide FAA certification training to accomplish certification of C-56, C-17, C-141 Weapon System Trainer and KC-135 Operational Flight Trainers. This requirement includes instruction in the current and up-to-date techniques, procedures, policies and criteria of evaluating, qualifying, and approving simulators and flight training devices for aircrew training. The training enables inspectors to understand the simulator evaluation and certification process, to conduct initial and recurrent evaluations of simulators and flight training devices. Estimated award date is 1 Jul 08. An Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated with a basic period of 1 Jul 08 thru 30 Jun 09 with two one year option periods. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency.
