Synopsis:

The Bureau of Land Management, Nevada State Office, has a requirement for vegetation treatment on selected sites on the Winnemucca District of the Nevada BLM. The work consists of disking specific fuelbreaks along the Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) - Right of Ways (ROW). The project is expected to begin on May 1, 2008 and be completed by June 30, 2008. LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: Highway 447, Washoe County approximately 63 acres. The width to be disked is 16 feet. Highway 95, Humboldt County approximately 173 acres. The width to be disked is 12 feet. Highway 290, Humboldt County approximately 50 acres to be disked. The width to be disked is 12 feet. Highway 140, Humboldt County approximately 71 acres to be disked .The width to be disked is 12 feet. A detailed Statement of Work and Maps will be included with the solicitation package. Solicitation packages will be available electronically on or about March 25, 2007. Offers will be due on or about April 10, 2008. Please print the Standard form (SF)-18 and all clauses and attachments. Quotes may be submitted to Bureau of Land Management, Elko Field Office; Attention: Tanya Arnberger, 3900 East Idaho Street, Elko, NV 89801, or by facsimile to 775-753-0260. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System number for this solicitation is 115310. Size standard is $17.5 million. An award will be made based on Technical Capability, Past Performance and Price. Quotes shall include the following items: 1) Pricing Schedule including unit price, 2) Company experience as detailed in the solicitation, 3) Relevant Past Performance from the past three (3) years as detailed in the Solicitation, 4) Include TIN and DUNS Number, 5) Offer must be signed, and 6) Representations and Certifications must be submitted (Note: Annual representations and certifications can be completed at Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. If representations and certifications are not completed electronically, then FAR Clause 52.212-03: Offeror Representations and Certifications, found in the solicitation package, must be completed.)
