Description
NOTE MODIFICATION:
THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING CONSIDERED FOR A TOTAL HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. To determine the interest of qualified firms, Contractor's who are a Certified HUBZone small business and who intend to submit a quote for this solicitation, MUST submit their information by email to r1_ipnf_aqm@fs.fed.us or by FAX (208)
765-7229 for receipt by 4:30pm local time, February 29, 2008.
(NOTE: should your HUBZone firm fail to respond by this deadline, you may still submit a quote). Your submission must include (a) a positive statement of your intention to submit a quote for this solicitation (b) your date of HUBZone certification. A decision on whether this project will be pursued as a HUBZone small business set-aside will be posted as a modification in FedBizOpps.
Idaho Panhandle National Forests, Bonner, Boundary, Shoshone, Kootenai, Benewah and Latah Counties, Idaho. Forest Wide Brushing for: Sandpoint, Bonners Ferry, Priest Lake, Coeur d Alene River and the St. Joe Ranger Districts. The work is performance-based services for Roadside Brushing, to include: cutting vegetative growth, including trees six (6) inches or less in diameter which interferes with the sight distance and drainage features along the roadway and the removal of all logs and windfall within the specified clearing limits. Hourly work may be performed on as-needed basis in non road areas such as campgrounds, bridge guardrails and approaches as well as for brushing unusual situations as may be designated on specific roads. Multiple awards are possible by Zone of an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, for one base and one option year period (2008 and 2009 field seasons) with a Spring 08 start date.
