Description
The contractor will provide environmental audits for all Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) and Community Based Out-Patient Clinics (CBOC) in the New England Healthcare System, listed at the bottom. The contractor will audit based on all federal, state and local regulations applicable for each location. Audits will include at minimum, air programs, water, wastewater programs, pesticide programs, solid and hazardous wastes, hazardous substances and chemicals, environmental response, emergency planning and community Right-to-Know programs, Hazardous Materials Transportation, and toxic substances. Contractor must provide evidence of insurance coverage to the contracting officer. This project is subject to the Service Contract Act. The applicable NAICS code is 541620 and the size standard is $6.5 million. Award will be based on best value to the government, and is set aside for a service disabled veteran-owned small business. Evaluation factors include Technical Evaluation, past performance and price. The solicitation package will be available on or about 3/7/2008. The date for receipt of quotations is scheduled for April 4, 2008 at 3:00 pm.
