Description: HubZone SetAside. Project title: EASTSIDE INHOLDERS FUEL THINNING PROJECT, Lassen Volcanic National Park, 39489 Hwy 44, Shingletown CA 96088. Solicitation Number Q8400080015. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed price quote on the services to create a 2.84 miles 100' (35 acre) fuel break along a portion of the Drake Lake Trail, near the park boundary, to reduce the potential for unwanted wildfires entering the park and prevent or reduce the chance of wildfires from leaving the park and threatening private lands or improvements. This will be accomplished by a combination of thinning, bucking, limbing, and felling area fuels. Please see solicitation for specific description of services. Cost to include all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. Estimated cost of service range is between $25,000 and $100,000.
