This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation HAQ082039 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-25. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.NAICS code is 333111; size standard of 500 employees. This will be a firm fixed-price contract for the Bureau of Land Management, 100 Oregon St., Vale, Oregon 97918. SUPPLY AND DELIVER 12 drill carts to the Bureau of Land Management Warehouse, 100 Oregon St., Vale, Oregon 97918. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: Manufacture twelve (12) drill carts that will pull three (3) rangeland drills for seeding purposes. Material specifications: all four (4) inch tubular steel to have wall thickness of 1/2" (0.50"); all three (3) inch tubular steel to have wall thickness of 3/8" (0.375"); all hitch points to have "Headless Press Fit, Type P" hardened bushings. See drawings for dimensions; safety chains on all pins built to swivel; heavy duty 15" wheel and ten (10) ply tire for trailer wheel; two flange bearing part number TIMKEN VCJT 1 3/4" for bearing assembly on trail wheel; four (4) tires on main body and folding wings use 255-70-22.5" truck tires load range E or F; four (4) wheels on main body and folding wings use a 10 lug hub - brand name WEBB#10209, spindle is a DANK22SP104; folded height not to exceed nine (9) feet; folded width not to exceed 8' 6"; width on main frame not to exceed eight (8) feet from outside of tire to outside of tire; completed cart shall be painted Industrial Yellow. Any blueprint adjustments, if necessary, shall be coordinated with the Contracting Officer; materials shall remain as stated above. ACCEPTANCE: Final inspection and acceptance of Drill Carts will be made by the Government at the place of delivery. One cart shall be delivered within 60 calendar days from contract award and all carts shall be delivered within 180 calendar days of contract award and there shall be no deliveries on Saturday, Sunday, or federal Holidays.
