Description: HubZone SetAside. Project title: DRAKELAKE FUEL THINNING PROJECT, Lassen Volcanic National Park, 38050 HWY 36 East, Mineral CA 96063. Solicitation Number Q8400080016. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed price quote on the services to create a 2.68 miles 100' (32 acre) fuel break along a portion of the Drake Lake Trail, near the southern park boundary, to reduce the potential for unwanted wildfires entering the park and prevent or reduce the chance of wildfires from leaving the park and threatening private lands or improvements. This will be accomplished by a combination of thinning, bucking, limbing, and felling area fuels. Please see solicitation for specific description of services. Cost to include all technical expertise, labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. Estimated cost of service range is between $25,000 and $100,000.

A required site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L, clause 52.237-01, Site Visit.
