Request for Information (RFI): This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The 325th Contracting Squadron is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to provide refurbishment of all mechanical hardware and electronic components of the existing KABA IIco Inc.Solitaire 710 series locks and exit devices.

The 325th Services Squadron needs an extended maintenance plan (EMP) for the existing KABA Iico Inc. Solitaire 710 series keyless entry systems located at Tyndall AFB FL Lodging buildings 930, 1060, 1332-1355, 1582 , 325, 1355, and TLF's. As part of the EMP locks will be repaired or replaced as required, as well as the Front Desk Unit 780 (FDU) including power supply and programming cable. Also included, repair or replace model 3.0 / 3.5 card readers and provide unlimited access to a 24-hour technical support line and one way ground freight prepaid. A firm fixed price type contract is contemplated.

Please note that this RFI is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their abilities to meet the requirements. Firms responding to this synopsis must identify their company's capabilities to perform the requirements described herein, reference the solicitation number and indicate whether or not that they are a small or small disadvantaged business concern as defined in FAR 52.219-1. The NAICS code is 561621 (security systems services). The Small Business size standard is $11.5 Million. The information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Air Force not to open the requirement to open competition, based on response to this sources sought synopsis, is solely within the discretion of the Air Force. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this sources sought synopsis.
